Thanks for joining me this week!  On Sunday my mom and I went shopping and I found myself stopping into the Madewell shop for the first time.  Loved the cool vintage styling of this place and all the beautiful wares are well!  Too bad I had already purchased these prior to stepping into this place...
I picked up their Spring catalog on the way out and today I share with you some of my favorites from this issue.  Are you familiar with this shop?  Do you frequent it often? Because I can see myself coming back to shop here once my account allows me to :)

Friday Fancies: Fashion Forward

I could get used to this shorter work week!  Couldn't you?!  Alas, it's Friday and time for another fun Friday Fancies post. In honor of NY Fashion week, AV of Long Distance Loving picked the theme of fashion forward for this weeks post.  Coming up with this weeks post was really fun and quite self-indulgent, if I do say so myself.  For anyone who knows me, my everyday style is pretty casual and laid back. A mix between preppy and bohemian (or at least I like to imagine so). Which is why I had fun picking out these pieces. I love the emerald green pop of color against the textured nude one shoulder dress.  Earthy gold/emerald earrings bring color to the face and this leopard clutch is a fine unexpected touch of pattern to finish off this look. Loving: Ruche Fall Look Book

Happy mid weekday to you!!  Phew, this week has flown by, hasn't it for you too? Today I'm crushing on the Ruche Professional Fall Wardrobe look book.  Since I work in a photo studio jeans and tees are a staple in my wardrobe.  But lately however I've been dressing things up by wearing skirts and dresses.  Below is one of my fav work wear outfits. I can't wait to transition some of my summer staples into the fall. Pairing my skirts and dresses with tights and boots, I'll be able to extend there mileage for sure!  What pieces do you own that you're planning on wearing into the Fall season?
