Friday Fancies: Labor Day Chic

TGIF, it's a long weekend!!  Yay :)  For this weeks Friday Fancies theme I created a special Labor Day Chic- Chicago style!!  Since this weekends forecast is going to be B-utiful a few of us girls are kicking the weekend off by spending the afternoon at Oak Street Beach.  I'm so excited to lay in the sun with a cold drink and girly magazines. I've struggled with being an urbanite and country gal most of my life. Which is a good reason for me to be a renter right now in this stage of my life. I seem to bounce back every few years from living in the city to living in the surrounding small towns. There are definite advantages and disadvantages to both that's for sure. I feel at home in both most of the times. I crave for big open fields while in the city and crowded walkways and public transit while in the outskirts of town. Perhaps one day I'll pick one to set roots in, but for now I'm having fun moving from town to city :) What about you? Are you drawn to one environment more than another or are you like me who enjoys switching back and forth to live in both environments?

Hope everyone has a great weekend! It's date night for me tonight. I'm heading out for sushi at Coast and then to The Tasting Room for some dessert and wine. This winery boasts not only great wines but an intimate atmosphere with dim lights and cozy leather couches. I hear table #22 has the best views of the city too!
